The Dragino MDS120-LS LoRaWAN® Microwave Radar Sensor is a solar-powered industrial distance measurement device designed for reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments. Unlike ultrasonic or LiDAR sensors, the MDS120-LS uses 60GHz FMCW microwave radar technology, making it highly reliable in condensation, humid, and dusty environments. It continues to measure accurately even when water droplets or thick dust are present on the sensor surface, making it ideal for Indian field deployments such as sewers, tanks, and outdoor installations.

The solar panel combined with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery enables long-term autonomous operation, reducing maintenance costs and ensuring sustainable IoT deployment.
